90-Acre Retail Development Belterra Village Coming To Southwest Austin
The new Belterra Village development from Crescent Communities and Endeavor Real Estate Group is coming out swinging with the announcement of its initial retailers set to open in this new Southwest Austin development. So far Texas businesses like Torchy’s Tacos, Spec’s Wine Spirits and Finer Foods, Breed & Co., and Mama Fu’s Asian House are on the list to help service the Southwest Austin and Dripping Springs area where Belterra Village will call home, reports the Austin Business Journal.
The 90-acre mixed-use development is part of a bigger picture of community creation in Dripping Springs. It will be located near Highway 290 and Nutty Brown Road, near the Belterra master-planned community that includes 1,400 homes. Belterra Village will include 79 higher-density homes in the mixed-use area.
The development will host anchor retailer Violet Crown Cinemas’s newest foray into the food/beverage/film market with Sky Cinemas. The concept will include 14 screens, reclining chairs, full menu, and outdoor beer garden.
Nearly half of the 200,000 square feet of the initial phase of the development has been spoken for, including retail space, restaurant space, medical offices, a hotel, and a senior living community. Other retailers set for the initial opening include Pet Supplies Plus, Baskin-Robbins, Great Clips, Dunkin’ Donut, Serasana Wellness Center, Today’s Vision, River Rock Dental, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, and Jersey Mike’s Subs.
The design firms working with Endeavor on the project include BIG RED DOG Engineering, Nelsen Partners, Studio|16:19, and 4Ward Land Surveying. Construction is set to start this fall. Stay tuned to BuildingATX as this development moves closer to construction.
