Details Emerge for Rainey’s Newest High-Rise (RENDERINGS)

Will Rainey Street’s newest condominium tower break ground this fall? If developer Sackman Enterprises has their way, the site at 70 Rainey will soon transform into Austin’s newest luxury residential tower to break ground.

According to a report in the Statesman, the developers propose a 35-story building with “more than 160 residences priced from the $300,000s up to $3 million”. The units would deliver in late 2017.

Sackman Enterprises obtained the site from Austin-based Riverside Resources. A site development permit for the original project at 70 Rainey was obtained in May 2014. City documents indicate the original development was a 31-story, 381-ft tower. Sackman is in the process of revising the approved site plan which will allow this project to move forward.

Marketing for the new 70 Rainey has also kicked off, with the building’s Facebook page and website going live over the past week. Check out some of the renderings that have been released:
